Zip – A Silver Zipper Ring Inspired by Everyday Objects

Zip turns a familiar detail from clothing into a piece of Jewellery. Made in Argentium Silver 940, this silver zipper ring brings an everyday fastening into a new context.

Finding inspiration in the familiar

Zippers surround us: on jackets, jeans, bags and countless objects we use without giving them much thought.

With Zip, I wanted to take that familiar detail and look at it differently. Something usually valued for its function becomes the starting point for a ring—a small invitation to notice the design in everyday life.

An unconventional alternative

Zip’s band-like form also suggests a playful alternative to a traditional wedding ring. It offers a different way to mark a connection, or simply to wear a design that reflects your own character.

Made to your size

I adapt the digital design to your ring size, then finish each cast piece by hand in my London workshop.

Zip is made to order in Argentium Silver 940 and hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
