Exploring the Matter Collection
Matter occupies space and has mass. Yet, as a designer, I see more than a physical definition: I see an endless source of shapes, textures and possibilities.
I created the Matter Collection from my fascination with materials—perhaps even a kind of obsession. I realised that the character of a natural surface could be enough to give a simple ring its identity.
Nature offers an almost endless creative vocabulary. To me, matter represents the fundamental building blocks of creation: it is the vocabulary of God. I love exploring it.
The Rock: a natural texture in silver
The Rock takes its inspiration from crystalline rock, one of the fundamental building blocks of our planet.
I wanted to keep the form simple and let the surface speak. The texture gives this silver band its character, translating my fascination with rock into a piece of Jewellery.
A simple ring, with an equally simple explanation: the material itself inspired me.
Made to your size
The Rock is a textured silver ring made to order in Argentium Silver 940. I adapt the digital design to your ring size, then finish each cast piece by hand in my London workshop.
Each ring is hallmarked at the London Assay Office. Please allow 2–3 weeks for production. Your ring arrives in Guzzardi packaging with free UK shipping.
