About Guzzardi Jewellery

Who designs and makes Guzzardi jewellery?

I’m Giuseppe Guzzardi, an Italian jewellery designer and goldsmith based in London.
I create original rings and pendants, combining my experience at the jeweller’s bench with digital sculpture.

How is your jewellery made?

My process combines digital modelling, 3D printing, casting and hand-finishing.
Digital tools allow me to develop sculptural forms and intricate details, while each cast piece is individually finished by hand in my London workshop.

Is your jewellery made to order?

Yes. I make each piece to order, and each ring is produced in your chosen size.
I adapt the digital design before production to preserve its proportions and distinctive details.

What silver do you use?

My silver collection is made in Argentium Silver 940, which contains 94% silver.
 Conventional sterling silver contains 92.5%.

Visit the Argentium Silver page to learn more about the material I use.

Is your jewellery hallmarked?

My silver and gold jewellery is hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
Hallmarking provides independent verification of the precious metal content.

Can you make a design in gold?

Gold is available for bespoke commissions.
If you would like a gold version of a collection piece, contact me with the design name so we can discuss its suitability, materials and cost.

Finding Your Ring Size

How do I find my ring size?

I recommend having your finger measured by a jeweller. Mention the width of the design you are considering, as a wide band can feel different from a narrow one.

Visit my Sizing page for further guidance. If you are uncertain, please contact me before ordering.

Which ring sizing systems do you use?

Guzzardi uses UK and Italian ring sizes. Check the options on the individual product page.

If you know your size in another system, contact me before ordering so we can confirm the appropriate equivalent.

What if my size is not listed?

Contact me with the name of the design and your ring size. I can check whether the piece can be adapted and explain any practical considerations before you order.

Can you help me choose a ring as a surprise gift?

Yes. Please contact me before ordering if you do not know the recipient’s size. An existing ring worn on the intended finger may provide a useful starting point.

We can discuss the information you have and the best way to proceed.

What if the ring does not fit?

Please contact me so we can discuss the options.
Depending on the design, an adjustment or a replacement in another size may be possible. I’ll explain any costs before proceeding.

You can also use the 14-day change-of-mind return policy, including for a ring made in your chosen size. See the returns section below.

Orders & Delivery

How long will my ring take to arrive?

For collection rings delivered within the UK, please allow approximately 2–3 weeks from placing your order to delivery.

This includes:

  • Making your ring.

  • Hallmarking at the London Assay Office.

  • Shipping to your UK address.

Each ring is made individually, so this is an estimated timeframe.
For international deliveries or bespoke commissions, please contact me to confirm the expected timing.

Why does a made-to-order ring take 2–3 weeks?

Your ring goes through several stages: preparing the design in your size, producing the model, casting, finishing and hallmarking before it is sent to you.

The delivery estimate allows time for the complete process, including independent hallmarking and shipping.

Can I order for a particular date?

Please contact me before ordering if you need your jewellery for a birthday, anniversary or another occasion.

Tell me:

  • Which piece you are considering.

  • The delivery destination.

  • The date you need it.

I’ll check whether I can meet your deadline before you commit to the order.

Is UK shipping free?

Yes. UK shipping is included for collection pieces advertised with free UK delivery.

Can I order from outside the UK?

Please contact me with your country and the piece you would like to order.
I can confirm delivery availability, shipping costs and the expected timeframe before you purchase.

International delivery times may differ from the UK estimate.

Can I change my order after placing it?

Please contact me as soon as possible with your order number and the change you would like to make.

Possible changes depend on the stage of production and the work involved.
I’ll confirm what can be done and any effect on the cost or delivery time before proceeding.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return my jewellery if I change my mind?

Yes. I accept change-of-mind returns, including pieces made to order and rings made in your chosen size.

The process has two separate deadlines:

  • Tell me within 14 days, starting the day after you receive your jewellery, that you wish to cancel.

  • Send it back within a further 14 days of notifying me.

You do not need to give a reason. Please see the Returns & Refunds page for the full procedure.

Does choosing my ring size prevent me from returning it?

No. Making a ring in your chosen size does not exclude it from Guzzardi’s change-of-mind return policy.

The same notification and return deadlines apply.

How do I arrange a return?

Email contact@guzzardi.co.uk with:

  • Your order number or other proof of purchase.

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel.

  • Details of the piece you are returning.

Please contact me within the 14-day notification period. I’ll provide the return address and instructions.

Send the jewellery back within 14 days of telling me you wish to cancel, and keep proof of postage.

Can I try on my jewellery before deciding whether to keep it?

Yes. You may gently try it on to check its fit and appearance, as you would in a shop.

If you decide to return it:

  • Avoid wearing it beyond this check.

  • Do not make any alterations.

  • Protect it from scratches and damage.

  • Package it securely for its return.

Handling beyond what is reasonably needed to inspect the piece may result in a deduction reflecting any reduction in its value.
Simply trying it on carefully does not prevent a return.

Who pays for return postage?

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return postage. This also applies to pieces made to order or in your chosen size.

I recommend using a tracked service with appropriate cover for the value of the jewellery.

If the item is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, I will cover the necessary return postage. Please contact me so I can explain the arrangements.

When will I receive my refund?

For a change-of-mind return, I will issue your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the jewellery back or receiving evidence that you have sent it back, whichever happens first.

The refund will use your original payment method unless we agree otherwise. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to show the funds in your account.

Can I return a piece because I change my mind after the 14-day notification period?

Change-of-mind requests made after the notification period are outside Guzzardi’s standard return policy, unless a longer period applies by law.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the jewellery is faulty or not as described.

What if my jewellery arrives damaged or develops a fault?

Please contact me with your order details and a description of the problem. Photographs can help me understand the issue.

I’ll explain the appropriate next steps and the remedy available under your statutory rights.

The 14-day change-of-mind deadline does not apply to claims concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

Bespoke Commissions

Can you design a piece especially for me?

Yes. I offer bespoke jewellery design in silver or gold. A commission can begin with an idea, a memory or simply the wish to wear something personal.

We discuss the design, materials, budget and practical requirements together.

Do I need a finished design before contacting you?

No. A description, rough sketch or a few reference images can be enough to start the conversation.

It helps to include:

  • Your ideas or reference images.

  • Your approximate budget.

  • Any date you are working towards.

Can you use gemstones from jewellery I already own?

I can explore a new design using your existing gemstones. First, I need to assess their condition and suitability for removal and resetting.

We can then discuss how to preserve their personal significance in a piece you would enjoy wearing.

Will we discuss the design before production?

Yes. Digital modelling helps us discuss the shape, proportions and details before making the piece.

The materials, finish, cost and expected timing are considered as part of developing the commission.

Jewellery Care & Contact

How should I look after my jewellery?

A few simple precautions will help you care for your piece:

  • Gently wipe it with a clean, soft cloth.

  • Store it somewhere dry when you are not wearing it.

  • Remove it before swimming or handling cleaning products.

  • Remove it before activities that could damage it.

If your piece has darkened details or gemstones, contact me before using silver dips, abrasive cleaners or polishing treatments, as these may affect the finish or materials.

Can you resize or repair my Guzzardi jewellery?

Please contact me with photographs and a description of what is needed. Repairs and resizing depend on the design, materials and condition of the piece.

I’ll assess what is possible and explain any costs before work begins. This does not affect any repair or other remedy you may be entitled to under your statutory rights.

How can I contact you?

Use the Contact page or email contact@guzzardi.co.uk.

For an existing order, include your order number. For a bespoke enquiry, you can send reference images, an approximate budget and any relevant date.
