The Tree of Life - A personal interpretation
There are many interpretations of the Tree of Life. My interest lies in the idea of an inner journey: a path towards discovering what feels timeless within us.
In 2020, I attended a course on this subject with Italian philologist Igor Sibaldi. Philosophy, psychology and metaphysics have long fascinated me, and that experience became the starting point for this silver Tree of Life ring.

A map of the inner world
Through my exploration of Kabbalah symbolism, I came to see the Tree of Life as a map of the psyche: an invitation to discover aspects of ourselves that may lie beyond our everyday awareness.
TOL is my personal response to those ideas, translated into a form that can be worn. For me, jewellery can hold a thought or a question, as well as being an object of beauty.
Light, shadow and silver
I chose an antique finish to bring depth to the design. I darken the silver using liver of sulphur, then polish back the raised surfaces, leaving the patina in the deeper recesses.
The contrast between light and shadow reveals the sculpted details and gives the ring its chiaroscuro effect.
Made to your size
TOL is made to order in Argentium Silver 940. I adapt the digital design to your ring size, then finish each cast piece by hand in my London workshop. Every ring is hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
