Bone – A Silver Bone Ring with Organic Openwork Forms

Bone is a silver bone ring in Argentium Silver 940. Its irregular openings, textured surfaces and sculptural contours recall the structure of bone, bringing an organic character to the design.

Exploring the vocabulary of matter

I created the Matter Collection from my fascination with materials—their surfaces, structures and the possibilities they offer.

Nature gives us an almost endless vocabulary of forms. I find that exploring the character of a material can be enough to begin a piece of Jewellery. For me, matter holds the fundamental building blocks of creation: what I think of as the vocabulary of God.

I love exploring that vocabulary and discovering where it might lead.

An idea emerging from intuition

Bone began on one of those happy days when I sat at my computer and started sketching digitally, without looking for anything specific.

Gradually, an idea appeared, as though emerging from the mist of chaos. What began as intuition took shape before my eyes. Even after years of designing, the unexpected nature of that process can still fill me with wonder.

The resulting form recalls bone through its irregular cavities and connecting contours. Open spaces become part of the sculpture, alongside the silver itself.

From digital design to hand finishing

I develop the design through digital modelling, adapting its proportions to your ring size, then finish each cast piece by hand in my London workshop.

Part of the Matter Collection, Bone is made to order in Argentium Silver 940 and hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
