THRILL – Organic Silver Ring

I am always drawn to organic shapes that seem to emerge from within. I do not always begin with a precise idea, and Thrill came into being that way.

I started with a simple band, moving one part a little, then another. Gradually, I reached a place where the “I” who plans and directs seemed to step aside. Rather than leading the design, I let myself be led by it.

My hands kept working, yet I could not quite say whether I was directing every movement. Then the shape began to communicate something to me: that feeling of encountering something unexpected and stimulating, something that gives you a thrill.

That feeling gave the ring its name. I remain fascinated by the way creativity seems to come to us, rather than being something we consciously command.

Thrill is individually made to order in Argentium silver 940, proportionally scaled to your chosen size and finished by hand. 

The result is a contemporary silver ring that carries the spontaneous character of the original design.
