Terms and conditions
These terms apply to consumer purchases made through the Guzzardi Jewellery website and to Jewellery commissions agreed directly with me.
Please read them together with the Returns & Refunds policy and Privacy & Cookie Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
About Guzzardi Jewellery
Guzzardi Jewellery is operated by Giuseppe Guzzardi, trading as Guzzardi Jewellery, based in London.
Business address: 12 Twyford Avenue, W3 9QA, London
Email: contact@guzzardi.co.uk
Telephone: +44 7932 849452
Website: https://guzzardi.co.uk/
Please contact me before posting Jewellery so I can provide the correct return address and instructions.
My Jewellery
My process combines digital modelling, 3D printing, casting and individual hand-finishing.
Collection pieces are made to order, with rings produced in your chosen size. Each product page describes the materials, finish and relevant dimensions.
Small variations may occur because pieces are individually finished. These do not remove my responsibility to supply Jewellery that matches its description and is of satisfactory quality.
Colors and surface finishes may appear different on different screens. Please contact me before ordering if you need clarification about a piece.
Choosing Your Ring Size
Please check your ring size carefully before ordering. I recommend having your finger measured by a jeweler, taking the width of your chosen design into account.
Visit the Sizing page for guidance.
If your size is not listed or you use another sizing system, contact me so we can confirm the appropriate size.
Ordering a ring in your chosen size does not exclude it from Guzzardi’s change-of-mind return policy.
Placing an Order
Before submitting your order, please check:
The design and quantity.
Your chosen size and agreed specifications.
Your delivery address and contact details.
The total price and delivery arrangements.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when I send an email accepting and confirming your order. A message that only acknowledges receipt of your order or payment is not, by itself, acceptance.
If I cannot accept your order, I will explain this and promptly refund any payment taken.
Please contact me as soon as possible if you notice an error in your order details.
Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless expressly stated otherwise.
The total payable, including applicable taxes and delivery charges collected by Guzzardi, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Payment options are those offered at checkout. For bespoke commissions, the price, payment schedule and any deposit will be agreed in writing before you commit.
If I discover a pricing error before accepting an order, I will contact you with the correct information. You can decide whether to proceed or receive a refund of any payment taken.
An accepted order’s agreed price will not change without your agreement.
Production and Delivery
For collection rings delivered within the UK, please allow approximately 2–3 weeks from ordering to delivery.
This includes:
Preparing and making your ring.
Hallmarking at the London Assay Office.
Shipping to your UK address.
International deliveries and bespoke commissions may require different timescales, which will be confirmed separately.
Please contact me before ordering if you need a piece by a particular date. A specific deadline is binding where we expressly agree it.
Unless we agree otherwise, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed.
If a delay occurs, I will contact you with an update. Estimated times do not remove your legal rights concerning late delivery.
Where you are legally entitled to end the contract because of a delivery failure, I will refund the payments due without undue delay.
Shipping and International Orders
UK shipping is included for collection pieces advertised with free UK delivery. Other delivery charges will be shown or agreed before you purchase.
For international orders, please confirm delivery availability, charges and estimated timing before ordering.
Import duties, local taxes or customs charges may apply at the destination. Unless expressly included in your payment to Guzzardi, these are your responsibility.
The Jewellery remains my responsibility until physically received by you or someone you nominate, other than the carrier. Different statutory rules may apply if you independently appoint a carrier that I did not offer.
Ownership passes to you once full payment has been received and the Jewellery has been delivered.
Bespoke Commissions
Before you commit to a bespoke project, we will agree the relevant details in writing:
Design and specifications.
Materials and gemstones.
Measurements.
Price and payment arrangements.
Expected production and delivery times.
Changes affecting the design, price or timing must be agreed by both of us.
If you would like me to use your existing gemstones or Jewellery, their condition and suitability must first be assessed. The proposed work and any particular risks will be discussed before you authorize it.
Guzzardi’s change-of-mind return policy also covers pieces made to order or to your specifications.
Changes to Your Order
Please contact me as soon as possible if you would like to change an order.
What can be changed depends on the stage of production and the work involved. I will explain any additional cost or revised timing before you decide whether to proceed.
A request to change an order is separate from your right to cancel it.
Cancellation and Returns
You may cancel your online purchase before delivery or within the notification period below, without giving a reason.
This policy includes pieces made to order and rings made in your chosen size.
There are two separate deadlines:
Notify me within 14 days, starting the day after you receive your Jewellery.
Send it back within 14 days of notifying me that you wish to cancel.
For goods ordered together but delivered separately, the applicable statutory cancellation period runs from receipt of the last item.
Email contact@guzzardi.co.uk with a clear statement of your decision and your order details. You may use the optional cancellation form below, but this is not compulsory.
Cancellation does not depend on receiving approval from me.
Requests made after the applicable notification period fall outside the change-of-mind policy, unless a longer period applies by law.
See the Returns & Refunds policy for the full procedure.
Trying On and Returning Jewellery
You may carefully inspect and try on your Jewellery as you would in a shop.
If you decide to return it:
Avoid wearing it beyond what is needed to inspect it.
Do not engrave, resize or otherwise alter it.
Protect it from scratches and damage.
Return accessories supplied with it.
Package it securely, using the original packaging where possible.
Opening the packaging or carefully trying on the piece does not prevent a return.
Where legally permitted, a proportionate deduction may be made for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the Jewellery. Any deduction will be explained.
There is no restocking fee for an eligible change-of-mind return.
You pay return postage for change-of-mind returns. I recommend a tracked service with appropriate cover for the jeweler’s value. Keep proof of postage.
Refunds
Refunds are issued without undue delay.
Where Jewellery has been dispatched, I may withhold the refund until I receive it back or receive evidence that you have sent it back, whichever happens first. The refund will be issued no later than 14 days after that earlier event.
If the Jewellery has not been dispatched, I will refund you within 14 days of being informed of your cancellation.
Refunds use your original payment method unless we expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a refund fee.
If you cancel your whole order, any standard delivery charge paid will also be refunded. Additional costs for premium delivery above the standard delivery cost are not refundable for a change-of-mind cancellation.
Where delivery was included free of charge, no outbound delivery charge will be deducted retrospectively.
Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to display the refund.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Jewellery
I am responsible for supplying Jewellery that:
Is of satisfactory quality.
Matches its description.
Is fit for a particular purpose you made known to me and that I agreed it would fulfil.
If your Jewellery arrives damaged, is incorrect or develops a fault, please contact me with your order details and a description. Photographs can help with the assessment.
Depending on the circumstances, your statutory remedies may include rejection and a refund, repair or replacement.
Guzzardi covers necessary return costs for faulty goods, goods damaged on arrival or goods that are not as described.
The 14-day change-of-mind deadline does not limit these rights.
Care, Repairs and Alterations
Please follow the care instructions supplied with your Jewellery. Contact me if you are uncertain how to clean or look after it.
For repairs or resizing, I will assess the design and condition before confirming what is possible and any applicable cost.
Ordinary wear, accidental damage or unsuitable treatment does not automatically constitute a manufacturing fault. Your rights concerning Jewellery that was faulty or did not conform to the contract remain unaffected.
Personal Information
Your information is handled as explained in the Privacy & Cookie Policy.
I may contact you about your order, delivery or enquiry using the details you provide.
Responsibility and Legal Rights
I am responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by a breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms concern consumer purchases. Please contact me before buying for resale or another business purpose.
Questions and Complaints
Email contact@guzzardi.co.uk with your question or complaint and any relevant order details.
I aim to respond to complaints within five working days. If resolution takes longer, I will explain the next steps and keep you informed.
You can also use the Contact page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in the courts of their home jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections or court rights available under applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
The terms applying to your purchase are those in force when your contract is formed.
Later changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights under an existing order.
Optional Cancellation Form
You may use this form to cancel, but you do not have to.
