KAIROS – Argentium Silver – Ring

I think most artists can identify with this: there are moments when creation feels effortless — it simply flows.

I recognise these moments more and more even working bespoke, where usually I may have some limitations. 

Could it be a kind of channelling? Since learning to meditate and developing other practices, I feel more aligned with everyday life.
I don’t have to force things as much; ideas simply come, and not necessarily when I sit down to create.

It might happen in the bath, while walking or cooking. What might not seem like the perfect moment suddenly becomes the perfect moment.

I created this ring while I was in one of those moments of flow, and named it KAIROS, from the ancient Greek idea of the right, critical or opportune moment.
