A connection between two countries
Growing up in Italy, British culture was always part of my life. I listened to the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, and studied English language and literature for eight years through middle and high school.
That connection became so familiar that I sometimes find it difficult to say where the influence of my homeland ends and that of my adopted country begins. My love for Britain and its culture stayed with me into adulthood, and I worked hard to make it my home. It also helped me find the tools and opportunities to turn Guzzardi Jewellery into a reality.
The story behind Jack
In 2022, Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee marked seventy years of her reign. It made me think about how I could pay my own tribute to the country, its history and everything it had brought into my life.
That was the beginning of this Union Jack ring: a personal celebration of the connection between my Italian roots and my adopted home. I named it Union Jack, or simply Jack for friends.
Made to your size
Jack is made to order in Argentium Silver 940. I adapt the digital design to your ring size, then finish each cast piece by hand in my London workshop. Every ring is hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
