‘DRY WALL’ - Design Schematics
The landscape of my childhood
I grew up in Sicily until the age of seven. Across the island, dry stone walls mark the boundaries between properties, following an ancient building tradition.
For me, these simple walls are part of the soul of the Sicilian countryside. Each has its own character, contributing to a landscape that feels unmistakably familiar.
Among fruit trees, almond groves and mulberry trees, with the scents and warmth of the island, they belong to a world I remember with affection and nostalgia.
I created Dry Wall for my “bedda” Sicily—my beautiful Sicily.
A memory translated into silver
The ring recalls the irregular texture of those walls, bringing a small part of that landscape into a piece of Jewellery.
Wear Dry Wall on its own, or stack two together as shown in the image. Together, they give the texture a stronger presence.
In the example shown, a darkened finish in the recesses adds depth and contrast, emphasising the pattern of the surface.
Made to your size
I adapt the digital design to your ring size, then finish each cast piece by hand in my London workshop.
Dry Wall is made to order in Argentium Silver 940 and hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
