Beauty behind a veil

I was intrigued by the image of Fortuna, the blindfolded goddess. We cannot see gods and goddesses directly; we can only imagine them. This pendant is my interpretation: a face whose beauty and mystery emerge from behind a thin veil.
For me, that veil symbolises impartiality. Fortune and misfortune do not distinguish between us. I wanted to express that idea through a sculptural face, partly revealed and partly concealed.

Two finishes, two expressions

This goddess Fortuna pendant is available with a high-shine polished finish or an antique effect. The polished finish catches the light across the sculpted surface, while the antique effect brings contrast to its recessed details.
