THRILL – Argentium Silver – Ring

Thrillers, we all know about that.., right?
I am always looking for organic shapes that inspire me from within. I don’t always start a drawing with a precise idea in mind and in this case it went just like that.
I start with a basic band and start from there. Moving some parts a little and then others and I reach a place in the mind where ‘I’, understood as a person who desires and acts accordingly, practically no longer exist. I don’t lead but I let myself be led.
I continue to move my hands but I’m not at all sure if it’s still ‘I’ who is really moving them. Until the shape I’m working on starts to communicate something to me. This ring communicated to me like when you come into contact with something stimulating that can give you a thrill.
I am always fascinated by seeing how creativity comes to us instead of us actually creating.
