'G' Style - ‘FOIL’ - Design Schematics
'G' Style - What does it mean?
This is the first ring in a collection called ‘G’ Style.
‘G’ Style was a concept that I used back in the 80’s, I had never seen it before but it seemed to make sense, if the design on the top was large I would complement that  with a larger band at the bottom, It makes its surprisingly comfortable and less likely for the ring to move out of place.
Here are two examples of rings that I made in the 80’s as you can see they are very weighty on top, however using this method that I have now coined ‘G’ Style made them far more wearable and comfortable

I am always looking to create jewellery that stands out from the crowd, there are so many talented designers to compete with now, therefore I feel my only resource over ideas is experimentation.
Whilst trying to be a little more organic and unusual I tried this effect using Silver and it really popped for me. It looks like it is made from aluminium foil – hence the name.
